I wonder if I can keep up with my site -- I haven't updated for a few days, and school hasn't even started yet! Perhaps I'll update more when there's more to say.

It's been hard. People keep asking me when school will start, and how I feel about it. What do I say? I can't tell them, not yet, they won't understand. They're just asking to be polite -- it's not right to go and mess with them like that.

So I just smile and nod, continuing on, knowing -- even if no one else knows -- that this will be an important year for me.

Time is slowing down, entering that large gravity well that is the first day of school. Today was the class party. An opportunity to meet old friends and make new ones. There'll be a lot of new ones, almost half the class is new this year. I've never been too good at making friends, I guess it'll be a good opportunity to learn. Hmm, yet another thing they don't teach you in school.
