Hank Perritt is the democratic candidate in my district, running against incumbent Mark Kirk, a strong advocate of missile defense. Lessig has called Hank his hero and “grandfather of cyberspace law”. Hank seems to be very smart and mostly in agreement with me. This is a district that votes democratic (voted for Al Gore in the last election) and the only reason Kirk succeed was because he’s an extremely moderate republican (pro-environment, pro-freedom-of-religion, etc.). I think if we could get the word out, Hank could have a real chance of winning here. I definitely have to investigate this.
