A long time ago, I believe on Netscape’s site, I saw JavaScript form validation done Right. Next to each required field was a red circe with an X in white. As you correctly entered a response in the field, the icon changed to a green circle with a white check. It was such a great design I still remember it to this day. Unfortunately, I can’t find it. Does anyone know where this is… or at least know where to get these icons? I suspect I’ll just have to rewrite it myself.

*Update 2003-09-07:* I went ahead and rewrote it. If anyone else is interested, I put together a modern equivalent.
