CNN’s Inside Politics with Judy Woodruff:

WOODRUFF: We’re here with CNN election analyst Bill Schneider to discuss how this could impact the campaign.

BILL SCHNEIDER: Well, Judy, being a serial killer could help Roberts win over the key Latino and African-American demographics. On the other hand, it will likely seriously hurt him with the “soccer Mom” population. We’ll be watching the poll numbers very carefully.

CNN’s Larry King Live:

KING: Welcome back. My guest tonight is presidential candidate Bob Williams. Now we’ll take your phone calls. Amy from D.C., you’re on the air.

CALLER: Hi. I just wanted to say that I don’t feel comfortable with a serial killer in the Oval Office. I’m really glad Bob Williams is running.

WILLIAMS: Thanks, Amy. See, it’s just that kind of spirit that’s been motivating me in this campaign.

KING: Seth from San Francisco, you’re on the air.

CALLER: I’m really curious if Williams has any positions on the real issues, li—

KING: Hm, it appears we’ve lost Seth. Next caller…

ABC’s Nightline with Ted Koppel:

KOPPEL: And now a conversation with Joseph Stanson, a spokesman from the Roberts campaign. Joseph, how do you respond to these latest allegations?

STANSON: Well, I think Williams’s, well, it’s practically an obsession with serial killers might hint that he himself is a serial killer.

KOPPEL: But that’s absurd! Williams has repeatedly denied being a serial killer.

STANSON: But he might be lying — he is running for President, after all.

KOPPEL: That can’t be — 70% of Americans say that Bob Williams has an honest face. But I think you’ve hit upon the real issue here: the American people just don’t trust traditional politicians.

CNN’s Paula Zahn Now:

ANN COULTER: I think we need to start thinking about just what it would be like to knowingly re-elect a serial killer to our highest office. What would we tell the children? How could we explain this terrible moral failing? Wouldn’t we be putting cabinet officials in danger?
